Retired Navy guy coming out of the closet

Hello from Virginia Beach.
Have been lurking around here for a few years. 
Started following the forum months before I bought my red 2010 SEUC (Aug 2009).
Was riding an 883R before this.
Yes it is a different ride, but I liked the way the Sportster rode.
Have had just shy of 19K almost trouble free miles (on my first set of tires.. for the tire thread)
Always learned a lot here and found the answers to all my questions until today.
I will ask the question in the proper area.
I do feel compelled to do my introduction before I ask my question so no counseling would be required on posting here first.
I do have Guinness on tap,   :drink:  so when I see this on a post it holds a special place in my heart.

The subject line was chosen to give those of the other services an easy target.

You might want to edit the title of this thread............or not.  Especially considering that they just did away with the "don't ask, don't tell" policy and the fact that you were in the Navy.  Just a suggestion. :nixweiss:
