The 2012 initial release hasn't been out long enough to have wet its diaper yet.  You're in a hurry!  Not like the new model releases so far :huepfenlol2: ?

No I don't like the new paint jobs.  I have seen the black and orange and it did not pop like it should have.  But that just what I think.

From the paint I see, there will be a mid-year. Boy did they miss it!!!

the European dealers have parties on Feb. 10th for the presentation of 2 new models (Sporty 72 and Softail slim) but no CVO.

Take a real close look at the website update under NEW parts introduced today Feb 2, 2012. In the pictures of the new gloss black passing lamp and turn signal mounts they appear to be installed on an Ultra with a colour combination I have note seen before. Painted inner fairing contrasts with outer fairing and appears to have a gloss black front end.

I seems to recall that the last _____.5 model year CVO Ultra wasn't introduced until the last day of the dealer show - which this year I believe is Feb 4th or 5th.

Might have to log back on on the weekend to see if there is anything new for the CVO line-up.

Other than that - viewing the 2 pages of "New" parts for the Touring models there are a couple of minor parts I will likely purchase - [kit for running passing lamps and hi-beams, tour pak hinge re-configure for proper alignment of lid, etc] - but nothing major I can see that I can't live without....

Just took another closer look at the paint on the bike in those pics....

Is it possible that the lower portion of the front fairing is denim black and the upper side portion is a denim gold colour....

Gonna have to wait and see I guess - but sure lookin' that way to me....

Look at the new Road Glide windshield trim in gloss black on page two also.  I have never seen that color combo on a factory Road Glide....

I was at a local dealer and just finished telling a buddy that i thought the gray paint on the new SG was awful and a salesman came around the corner saying "hey look at that sharp paint". I did the best I could lying and minimizing how I felt. I did not have the heart to tell hem i thought it was an older used model.

Looks like I was wrong on that one....

Just found that denim black and orange paint set on the last slide under the HD1 Customization tab of the website. Available for 2012 Street Glide models.

Would kinda be interesting to see that one 'in the flesh'......

It will be interesting to see if they actually DO come out with some type of a mid-year CVO model for one of the bikes.
