Hi Everyone!
Last week I traded my problem '05 Ultra Classic with 34000 miles on it for Scarlet Red 2010 Ultra Classic CVO. The '05 had had cost me almost $5000 in engine repairs since last August and I said enough was enough! I had it made a 96" with Big Sucker Stage 2 filter, Andrews TW21 cams, ported heads, D&D Fat Cats and a PCIII. Other than being "chatty" it ran real sweet until the bottom end went out, the PCIII pooped out and burned my valves running too lean and a mechanic did a poor job of putting it all back together.
Anyway, that's history now and I'm grinning from ear to ear every time I mount my CVO. So many people have told me NOT TO TOUCH a Harley engine with more than exhaust and breathers. I love the quiet sound on this now stock bike, but wonder if adding a different breather will improve performance and if it would require a tuner and dyno to run right? Will the sensors make any needed adjustment for the improved breathing?
Thanks a million in advance!
