Police: Dad Charged After Allowing Helmetless 3-Year-Old On Motorcycle

MIDLAND, Pa. -- Police in Midland said they charged a man after he allowed his 3-year-old son to ride on his motorcycle without a helmet.
According to the criminal complaint, Kenneth Marsh, 30, was seen on his Kawasaki motorcycle traveling on Midland Avenue with his son sitting behind him.
"He was wearing a helmet, but the 3-year-old was not," said Midland Police Chief Joseph D'Itri.
Under the Pennsylvania helmet law, anyone who operates or rides a motorcycle must wear protective headgear unless he or she is 21 years old or older.
Marsh is charged with endangering the welfare of children, reckless endangerment, carrying a passenger on a learner's permit and not providing a helmet or protective eyewear to his son.

The entire story stinks to high hell but to make matters worse was that the dad thought to protect his mellon but not his son's.  Just becasue you can father children does not make you a father.
