Lol, no but they sure put me in a bind. I was on the Beach Boulevard and there was a line of trucks cleaning sand off the highway. Directed a line of traffic over a stretch that had a 2 foot deep pile across the lane. Saw it coming when the car in front of me fishtailed over it. Under the truck, in the road, or over the seawall I was goin' no matter what. About 15-20 mph and I landed in front of the lead truck, bike spun out from under me. Real glad I didn't land on the other side of it since it flipped. Didn't really have time to react. REAL lucky, no rash, but I think I broke my tailbone. The crew foreman had parked all the trucks in the lane that was clear. Pic shows the lead truck facing east, I was headed east. Landed right in front of it. Bike is now facing wrong way of course. On the left is the Gulf of Mexico and our sand beach, on the right is the median between east and west lanes.
That's the only time I've ever been down on the road in 30 years.
So now I wait for the State of MS to decide whether they will accept liability. Meanwhile my ins. co. offered me a fair deal to total mine so I'm shopping. If you know anyone with a 2011 CVOSG Black let me know. Can't pay retail.
Take care.
