Just saw those new parts. I have that same bike and would love to see what they look like on your tour-pak!

Went to a meeting at the dealer and they had one pair of each on the rack. I will take photos and post tomorrow.

Got latches and hinges from Zanotti's just the other day. Sure look good. What have you guys used to install the rivets on the hinges??   :jalapeno:

I replaced mine (hinges) with new chrome ones last year and had to drill them out and replace with the nut and bolts that came with the kit. :coolblue:

Sorry meant to say on the latches....the latch plate on the top lid came with new rivets for it. I don't have a tool for it and neither does my local dealer. I think I'll just use screws and nuts.

Be very careful with the screw/nut solution.  Chances are the nut will hit the top edge of the tour pak bottom and chip/damage the paint.  You can put some protective material in that area (e.g. the rubber gasket used on the inner fairing cut to size will work), but the best solution is to find a dealer with the blind rivet tool for those blind rivets used in the lid's latch.  I unfortunately discovered the chipped paint after having a tour pak repainted and used the smallest available stainless hardware I could find, and shortly thereafter had a tech at my local dealer use the dealer's blind rivet tool to install the blind rivets.

Good luck with your installation.

I installed the hinges with out even pulling it off and disconnecting it. I put the new latches on but did not put the part that stays on the lid. It takes a rivet gun to install but I may not even change them. You cant see the parts unless the trunk is open.
