Sounds like more things for my list of add ons..... I agree with the breaking in during cooler or colder weather. That's how it worked out with the 06 and had great luck with that motor......

True, but isn't it fun!  :carrot: I'm relying on you all to help with ideas. So far I've got the Fullsac stage 1, alarm pager, LED front and rear turn signals and stop light on the list. Have HID low and high beam on the 06 and might transfer those to the 12 if it will work. Other ideas??

Be aware that your NIM may work correctly or it may not.
Having gone through that issue I know Harley is aware and ARE changing out the old ones for new ones.
Not sure what a NIM is, don't worry you have plenty of time to figure it out.
Another thought on the NIM subject Greg, there is a site member that I feel is extremely knowledgeable on the subject.
That member is--->  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=8361
If you read his post you will see that he knows his stuff.
I was confident enough in his knowledge and skill that I drove to Delaware to have him work on my bike.

Thanks again for the info. Chip! I've seen some of the chatter about the NIM. Searched some and understand the possible issues better now. As usual, this site has plenty of valuable information. Now I'll know what to look for and check when the bike arrives.

Bookmarks, I knew that feature was there but have never used it. I now have several bookmarks in place. Thanks!  :2vrolijk_21:

Congrats on the new bike. Was great to meet you two in Tahoe and can't wait to see the new bike and new paint on the trailer in Spokane next year. :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks Rooster! Like Chip said, the bike is just the downpayment. We'll get the trailer painted sometime through the winter so it's ready for Spokane. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.  :carrot:

Thanks for the list, it just keeps growing. I would call it a dark blue but kind of open to interpretation.

It is dark blue, maybe a shade lighter than my 2011.5.
But I believe this 12 combination just like my 11 does appear in certain light to have a hint of purple in it.
But regardless the bike is beautiful.
