Mean city cycles
« on: August 03, 2011, 03:29:49 AM »

Anybody here used them? Thinking about sending my stock seat to them. I'd like to move back a few inches and make it hug the frame tighter. I use a sidekick seat when i'm solo and would like to sit in about the same position with my stock seat when riding two up.  If anyone has a seat modded by them please post a pic.
Thanks

Yes I have. I recently sent them a stock H-D Sundowner seat...had memory foam installed for me and the BSR...and re-upholstered in leather. They did a nice job with a very quick turn-around time.  :2vrolijk_21: I would highly recommend them.

I sent the pass pillion on my vrod to them and i thought it turned out great.   Had them to add the memory foam and make it a little wider and told them to keep the stock height because i wasnt changeing the rider seat and everything matched up very nice!  I would deffinatly use them again. very fast turn around too!

Call or email Allen, the proprietor, he's top-notch.  He bends over backward to please his customers.  If you haven't done so already, go to their website and read some of the testimonials.  I am also a member of HDForums.com and he is a sponsor on that site.  Do a search on that website for Mean City Cycles and you will see that the vast majority are very pleased the results of his work.  I used him to rework my stock seat about two years ago.  The more I ride, the better it feels.

Read about these guys in another thread, has anyone used them to improve their stock seat on the Convertible?

Ok thanks! Might be a good upgrade to send them the saddle during our winter season.
