How much over MSRP was Waugh?  That really surprises me because Don prides himself in being an MSRP dealership.  "Always have been, always will be", according to him.  One thing Waugh is well known for though, is they will add dealer installed options prior to putting a bike on the floor.  You do pay extra, obviously, for those and don't have the option to have them taken off and put back to stock.  That's usually what they do, but the bike itself is, or has been, always MSRP.   :nixweiss:

I hope that is not the case with the local dealer...  Deal that I am looking for on a 2012 Road Glide Custom CVO in Candy Cobalt/Twilight Blue with Real Smoke Graphics is:

2. 3.9% Financing
3. Color-Matched Chopped Tour-Pak Luggage. Includes matching CVO™ Graphics, Premium Hinges and Retractable Tether. P/N 53000055DGC ??
4. Deluxe Chopped Tour-Pak Liner P/N 91783-96
5. Chopped Tour-Pak Backrest Pad –  P/N 52898-98A  ??
6. Lock and Keys P/N 53194-07 (keyed-to-match) - I have the 4-point Docking HW Kit Passenger BK Rest - 54205-09 and the Detachable Two-Up Tour-Pak Mounting Rack – 53276-09A.  Not sure what else I would need for the install.
7. Color-Matched Saddlebag Spoilers with LEDs. P/N 58606??
8. Indoor/Outdoor Motorcycle Cover with Eagle Logo – 98715-85VC
9. Service Manual '12 Touring Models – P/N 99483-12

Absolutely it never hurts to ask, that would be one heck of a deal, especially when many dealers pretty well stick to MSRP, and as the thread suggestx, some ask considerably more.  Imho, if I could get $2,500 of plus a small allowance, I'd be all over that.

If I could find a convertible blue, and a street glide in black for MSRP, I would fly out to the dealership, buy it and ride home.

They did not come down from MSRP... I was able to at least get those additional parts for 1,500.00. Trade for my Sedona was 16.5K.  4.9% rate on the loan. No dealer fees...

Deal is done. I left my Sedona Orange bike in the dealer, signed away... pick up the new bike tomorrow or Tuesday (in route). I am blue... ...but in a good way  :2vrolijk_21:

I took my time buying my 2011 a month or two ago and ended up under MSRP by almost $3,000.  It was the end of the model year though and the 2012's were coming out, so I'm sure that had something to do with my deal.

You often see nice discounts on last years models that are sitting around.
