I was offered $16.5K for my '10 RK with 103" Stage ll and $8K for my '09 Super Glide Custom with 103" Stage lll for a total trade in value of $24.5K.  Just 4 months earlier on a '10 Street Gide CVO in Kyrpto.  I turned that down.

Two weeks ago my same trades on a left over '11 Road Glide Ultra CVO brought me $27K in trade.  That means this same dealer sold me their left over CVO for $2.5K under MSRP! It was also the end of the month, so timing may be in play here as well.

It may be that the RGU CVO might not be in such demand in my area, which works out great for me.  I prefer frame mounted fairings over handlebar mounted ones.

That's insulting!   >:(

You kind of feel like erecting a sign on the other side of the street to warn people.

He's been doing that for years...and apparently selling them.  Either the customers that buy them don't have a clue, or they have so much money it really doesn't matter.  Unless you are totally computer illiterate, there is no reason not to be an educated buyer these days, no matter what the product.

Oh I'm well aware of it. Bruce was still alive the last I was at his Destination Daytona location, and his sales dork just gave me the deer in the headlights look when I told them they were #$%& nuts.  Turns out, I was the guy who was nuts, because they are definitely selling them. Crazy chit.

Better yet, just park your CVO across the street, with a FOR SALE sign asking MSRP.  :orange:

If I could get the original MSRP for either of my CVO's, I'd gladly wear a hypocrite plaque on my shirt!   :pineapple:

Asking price for a 2012 yellow & black SEUC7 at Destination Daytona last weekend, $10,000 over MSRP.

I got mine in TN for MSRP from my local dealer.......not uncommon to see + $2000 - $3000 around the area though. Good luck!

You notice that Destination Daytona still has older CVOs still on the floor?  I don't see this at MSRP dealers.  DD had an '11 SERG marked at $44k during Biketoberfest.  Crazy.
