Have had Jim's old used No-Mar brand machine for a few months now.  Used it twice.  Works completely adequately and is going to be very convenient to have around.

Ohhhh, envy :2vrolijk_21: .  You've got the big Pro model with the swingout top arm.  Looks like you could do automotive wheels with that without much trouble.  The one here is their entry "Classic" model with the tilting top head and generally smaller unit overall.  Even with it, however, I've been impressed in its very limited use how well thought out the machine is.

I have a Cycle Hill tire changer.  Works great!  Cycle Hill is a division of No Mar.  I found both being demo'd last Fall at Barber Motorsports Park in B'ham, Alabama.  The No Mar units are great but unless you are going to be using it often, I'd recommend the Cycle Hill.  It is designed for the guy who changes a few tires a year.  You can find a link to Cycle Hill on the No Mar website at www.nomartirecharger.com.  Their website also shows upcoming events where they will be doing tire changing demostrations.  And, it's American made!

Been there, used modified HF with no-mar breaker etc.  Perhaps on bikes/tires that get 1500 miles (KTM Off road) or 6000 miles (Metzler Z6) but for 10-12K tires... $50 to have a shop change tires and balance - best money I've spent on a bike!  Order tires to get good prices, take them to local moto shop, give them $50.
