Americas 911 Ride
« on: August 24, 2011, 05:42:05 PM »

Went on the 911 Ride again this year, ninth year in a row to pay tribute to the fallen Police Officers, Fire Fighters and the victims of 911.  This was the 10th Anniversary of the Horrific Event that occurred on September 11, 2001.

We are staging to leave Somerset, Pa to ride to Shanksville....

Do I look pissed off?????? Yep, scoot over heated and shut down  >:(  >:(  >:( right in the middle of Times Square on 48th Street and Broadway.....pulled it off to the side to let it cool down.  NYPD was on me in a flash, told me I had to move the scoot, couldn't park there.  Told the Officers I was on the 911 Ride and my bike over heated and shut down...they said NO problem. Thanks NYPD!!!!!  :bananarock:  :bananarock:

Got the scoot started and made it to the hotel.....had to have a Jack on the rocks  :drink: to calm down, then took a cool shower to cool down my burnt thighs from the 110 HEAT...made it to the Itanlian Resteraunt at about 11:30 for a bottle of wine and a great meal.... :orange:
