Dyno Question
« on: August 24, 2011, 10:15:25 PM »

Bike dyno tuned and results were 105 and 111 in fifth gear, 1 hp increase in 6th with same torque as 5th and no change in results with air filter removed. Bike has 43 k on it with engine/heads/54h work done with rinehart 2-1. Tuner's thoughts were that clutch was slipping so change to Barnett was done. is the lack of power between gears and air filter possibly a result of the clutch.???

Not sure when the clutch swap was done?
If it was slipping at the time of the pulls in question, then yes it could be part of the reason.
if it was swapped before and adjusted correct. No it isn't the reason.
what would bother me is.....he "thought" the clutch was slipping.
its very easy to use the tools at his disposal, to determine if there is clutch slip on each of the runs.
don't worry about the a/c being removed and it not picking up any. Happens all the time.
got your dyno sheets? Post them up for a look. Clutch slip can be detected from the graphs also, when you know what to look for.

If you point your oxygen-acetylene cutting torch
at a temperature sensor and adjust it for the highest temp you have found stoichiometric
