Gizmag - Air Conditioning for Motorcycles
« on: August 28, 2011, 09:40:29 AM »

So, the temps in Texas are crazy. Went for a 8 hour ride yesterday, and at about 1PM - it hit 109degF. I never appreciated an ice house stop until then! I also would have been tempted for something like this...

Don't let the MOCO see this........it'll be their new solution to over-heating engines...at double the cost.

I saw a large group of BMW riders in Death Valley last month riding on a 118 degree day, all were decked in their long riding suits. I am now curious if they had this contraption to keep them cool. We were in an AC truck that was barley keeping up to keep us cool. We stopped at Stove Pipe wells for something cool to drink and stepping outside in that heat took your breath away.. There is no other way these guys can be out riding in that heat without something to help them cool down  :confused5:

As much as I love riding, sometimes it is just too damn hot to enjoy it.
