1sharprdkg, I have an 09SEUC. At 5'9" it was a little hard to handle on occassion with passenger and luggage . I had my seat reshaped and modified with memory foam at a local shop who specializes in motorcycles and boats. Now I can put both feet flat on the ground easily, the heater works fine, and I have no comfort issues. Just got back from 3500 mile. The cost was about $450.00. I have heard good things about the sundowner seats, but I don't think they come with heaters, but my upholstery guy said  he could put a heater in any seat.CAHDBIKER (theupholsteryzone@yahoo.com) 805-844-5386

Thanks for the link and info may consider that option. Do you have a pic or two of your seat?

Sharprdkg, I  posted to or three pictures on the site a while back, If you can't find them P.M. me and I will send them to you. For the money you can have an upholster conture the seat to fit you, add some memory foam for comfort and keep the heater and save a couple of bucks. Just for the record, I did not have any changes made to the passenger section of the seat.CAHDBIKER

All I can say is my see sucks on my SE6 !!!    Not even 5k miles and the seat is tearing at the stitches !!  And i barley weigh 155lbs !

Why not quit complaining about it and go get it replaced under warranty?

It's  very comfortable.  On par with Corbin.

I don't know if I'd go THAT far... :huepfenlol2: ;)  It's more comfortable than most HD seats I've sat on though.
