I sure hope this was not intentional!....and hope it doesn't give the  kooks any ideas.

Just reading the story you linked too gave me chills...

Sure hope this young man makes a full recovery... both physically and mentally.  Carrying around the thought of "What If" has often saved a riders life... but sometimes prevents them from ever getting back on the road alltogether.

While riding just the other day, I came into a residential setting and noticed what looked like an old 8-track tape had been taken apart and strewn all alongside someone's nice row of shrubbery... hoping that none of it was blowing out into the street.

yep, that would make a mess of the hot pipes if you ran over it and it wrapped all up into your motor, etc.   :nervous:  spyder

I saw a crow the other day on top of a building at work. He looked like he was just sitting there and checking things out. I cam back by about a hour later and he was still there. I got to looking at him and could see his foot caught in something. I went up on the building and he was tangled up in a kite string. I got him loose and he flew off. He was worn out fighting it. Followed the kite string and it was about 50 yards long. Over into a tree and down the road a little ways. Be careful.

That crow will probably follow you home.  Good karma going there for helping the ole crow out.  Surprised that it couldn't figure how to get loose 'cause they're pretty smart rascals.  :) har.  spyder

Yeah they are smart. This guy had that string wrapped around his leg so tight that I had to cut it off. He was very grateful.
