Like buying nice jewlery, but from what I hear, they are worth every penny  :nixweiss:  can't wait to hear your report. What is your project?

Project is to replace the stock lifters, bike is a 103 with 50K miles on it, and the OEM's are noisy sometimes. We also have a '09 96" stock bike with the same complaints.
We'll see how things work out, I'll have them in tomorrow. Using stock pushrods, and stock valve train, just a little cam in one, and stock cam in the other.

Installed the lifters this morning, went for a short ride to get the oil hot.
I have a "loop" that has high speed, up, down, slow, etc, etc.
Verdict: Wood lifters are quieter than my stock B lifters.
I'll have much more feedback after I take a short ride to Denver and back, via Monument Valley and Durango.

I think I'll keep the box, and use it to "re-gift" something for a buddy of mine! Maybe some Tequila tall shot glasses will fit?

Thought of that.........."Got wood"? Maybe they can hire us for their advertising?? LOL

Actually, I have some small wooden dowels here that I'd thought about putting them back in the little plastic bags..........get it? "Wood lifters"!!!!
