You may have noticed this new thread. JC pinged me today and very kindly offered to merge all of the Buster mod threads that I have posted into this single thread, so I can keep track of all the mods to Buster in this one place.

New Seat! I rode 2490 miles to get it! It has a heater in it for the 17 degree days we get around here. I have rode this cart 12312 miles in the past 3 months.

The NEXT mod is the S/C/S-4 2-into-1 exhaust from Drago's Bike Works... the "Dragula with a twist" for baggers. It's straight, not stepped, equal-length headers with a slightly different 2.5" inch collector than the Dragula, and the Dragula 4.05" muffler with a 2.55" baffle good to 130 HP. And their left-side ghost pipe to keep the looks proper for this bike.

I spoke with Frank there at some length this week... he's a really a great guy! He got the S/C/S-4 out the door today, and hopefully, I'll have it here on Saturday. He strongly recommended that I go ahead and install the Cometic MLS .030" head gaskets I've had sitting around here for awhile, to get the squish better and bump the compression a bit to approaching 9.8-1, which the 54H cams will like. He's confident that I will get better low-end torque than I've been getting.
 
SOOO... the current pipes, throttle body, and heads come off tomorrow to install the Cometic gaskets, then install the S/C/S-4 when it gets here. The headers and CVO cans are already sold, too!

Then of course more TTS tuning runs to dial it in. The fun need ENDS 'round here!

THANKS, Rex. You are indeed a WILD MAN! That dash with all those GPSes and stuff is INSANE! Your fairing must be totally STUFFED with cables inside.

And that huge seat looks like a rolling La-Z-Boy! What the heck is that thing? Of course, when you ride 1000 miles a day like you do, you need the cush for the tush!

I doubt I'll be able to make Jacksonville... but you never know. I just might need a micro-vacation by then to avoid anyone getting hurt. 7 days is one HECK of a long pizza party! If I were able to make it at all, it wouldn't be until Saturday the 17th. Will you still be there then? Maybe I could ride down on Friday and meet up with you.

Well Rex, it's like this... I can't GO 400 miles without stopping! I only go about 150 miles before I HAVE to stop for "other" reasons anyway...    

So I just always stop at gas stations, and accomplish BOTH tasks at the same time! Plus, I'm not always punching a milage clock like you are... not NEARLY tough enough for what YOU do, buddy!

BTW.. you need to paint the fuel cell ORANGE!

And your license plate number is actually "FIRE"?  Awesome!

Thanks, Thunder! May be a little while before I get back up there. My sig pic is not on the Dragon... but it WAS on US 129 somewhere in North Georgia! As soon as I get the Drago's S/C/S-4 2-into-1 pipe on it, and this NASTY weather clears out, I'll take some new pics and update my sig pic.
