Mine roll off switch hasn't worked for 2 years. I think the insulation in the switch deteriorates and that causes he switch to ground out. You can just unplu one of the wired to it and then it will work fine other than you don't have the roll off feature. My luck I would replace it and it would go bad again right away
Mine still works fine on the '05, but it is a rather useless feature IMHO. Since it only takes a light tap on either brake to shut the system down, or holding the button in the decel position until the speed drops below the lower threshold, or flipping the dash switch off, or pulling in the clutch on recent models, or hitting the run/stop switch, I don't see much need for even more redundancy. The only reason I know my roll off switch works is that I test it a couple times a year just to satisfy my curiosity, otherwise I just flick the front brake lever.
