Installed Fullsac CVO Stage 1 Sleeper
« on: September 06, 2011, 04:18:12 PM »

I had a 4 day weekend with the holiday and spent Friday & Saturday installing my new Fullsac exhaust.
I went with the 2.25" cores.
I couldn't be happier!!!
The X-Pipe has solved the worst of the heat issue - after riding for 3 hours I parked for an hour and was then able to touch my heatshields...
The sound of the 2.25s starts as a deep rumble then builds to a throaty roar and then goes back to a deep rumble at speed - COMPLETELY satisfying!
The throttle response in the TTS mappings is IMMEDIATE!

Steve absolutely hit it out of the park with his parts and map!

My next post will have some install tips...

Ride at 2000-2500 RPM, light load, level road and tell us how the exhaust sounds!
Mine has a "sweet spot" in that area that just sounds like music to my ears!

Of couse, JMHO......for the rest of you!

I have the same set up, and was riding with my local hog chapter last weekend. After about and hour or so we pulled over for a fuel stop and the rider behind me came  up and asked what muffler I was running, he said it looked stock but that he could feel the rumble in his chest when I rolled on the throttle.  It does sound very good.  I have no problem going around anyone even in 6th gear.
