I hate gravel, the only things worse are ice and oil on the roads.

And leaves...  The downside of fall...  Leaves, especially wet leaves, are as slippery as ice...

Good to see you on the recovery plan, from first hand experience I know it takes time, it helps not to watch the clock, try and keep busy doing light duty tasks.

Simon aka DH

Good thing you weren't riding faster than your angel could fly. :2vrolijk_21:

Good to know you're on the mend Simon.  I know those broken ribs and the issues that causes......and the consequence when you have to cough. :o   Get well buddy!

Glad to see your on the mend. Don't rush things or there will be complications, there is a lot of meat hanging on them bones. Just think of it as an opportunity to plan that next bike.  :D   Doc

DesertHog, so sorry to read of your mishap.  The ribs will heal (as mine took all summer to do) and you'll be back in the saddle again.  This is the part of our lifestyle that is a bummer, but part of it never the less.  Just glad nothing was punctured or worse in this kind of injury.  Saying a prayer for your quick & total recovery.  spyder

I was  flat out with the daughter on the back at 114mph on the 103 Road King.

WTH!!!  114 with your daughter on the back. This should be reported to the police. Unbelievable that you could care less about putting your daughter in danger like that and you have an ego that I am sure will someday catch up with you. Hopefully when that day comes it won't involve your daughter or anyone around you.
