OK...for the benefit of all you who didn't have the privilege of being born SOUTHERN: Holler, as Hub was using the word is a noun...a small valley or depression in the land. It's also a verb, an adjective, etc.
For example: I tried HOLLERIN' for Bubba across that HOLLER down in the woods over yonder, but he didn't HOLLER back.
Also used as an adjective: There's a big 'ol hive of bees over in that big HOLLER tree over yonder across the HOLLER....
Whoopin' and Hollerin' is what some southern boys do when they've had a few too many Buds while ridin' around in their trucks on Saturday night. And, you might do some sure'nuff hollerin' if you were to see a Hooter's girl after said Budweisers.
So now that you've all been educated on the proper use of that particular southern expression, you'll all know how to use the word properly in MV...you're also likely to hear the following in that neck of the woods: bar (bear);tar (tire); stirrin' wheel (steering wheel)...just to name a few.
Whew!! Educatin' you yankees is hard work! [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]
