My sense of humor fading fast
« on: September 10, 2011, 07:25:18 PM »

In May, I traded my 05 SEEG for the cobalt blue 2011.5 SEEG. Other than a stator failure covered under the extended warranty, all the 05 ever did was run and run well.  Now, the new one. The seat retaining screw vibrated out and is on a road somewhere, no big deal. Right highway peg fell off on I-70 during rush hour. Chit do happen. Threw the wheel weights off front wheel and took 5 weeks to obtain and install new fender. Heated grips not working. Took 7 working days to get new grip from MOCO and picked the bike up this afternoon just as the dealership was locking up. On the way home, turned on the radio and the volume is messed up, keeps fading in and out regardless of music source (XM, CD, radio). I assume that the wiring was messed up when they changed out the left grip. Now, back again to the dealer after work on Monday to drop it off again. My wife is tired of picking me up and I am a little ticked at the amount of shop time this scoot has logged. Cross my fingers that this will be my last problem.

PS...startin to miss the 05 really bad!!

Huey, feel your pain bud! I go back and forth between "it's a miracle all this technology works at all" and "a $30,000 motorcycle should never have a problem". Hope you get all your issues behind you soon!

Uh, sorry for all the hassles.  Sounds like the shop pulled the antenna wire out of the radio this last time.
