Torque Specs for 2011 110 header
« on: September 12, 2011, 08:03:38 PM »

Could anyone provide the torque specs to the 4 header nuts that hold the exhaust headers to the heads? I am getting ready to install a Fullsac X-Pipe on my 2011.5 SEUC and I have not picked up a service manual yet.

I don't know what the torque spec is, off hand, but....

Once torqued, run the motor until the heads and exhaust are hot, then let it all cool to ambient, then re-torque these bolts.  And then do it again.   :2vrolijk_21:

The 2009 manual says 100 to 120 in-lbs.  It states, tighten the top nut front cylinder to 9 to 18 in-lbs then bottom nut to 100 to 120 in-lbs. Final tighten the top to 100 to 120 inch pounds.
Rear cylinder as described above but start with the bottom nut 9 to 18 in-lbs

Same torques and procedure are stated in the 2011 manual. Nothing different shown in the SE supplement manual.

I want to buy the manual and supplemental manual for a 2010 CVO Ultra.  What are the correct part numbers?  Thank you.

Thank you much.  They don't change much from year to year do they?

gabhart, I am sure you already know this, but don't tighten any of the other exhaust pipe bolts until you get the header to heads torqued down the way you want them. Before you put everything back together you might want to start it for a second to see if you have any leaks. You will definitely hear a leak if you have one. Just my 2 cents from past experience.CAHDBIKER

Thanks for the advice. That's exactly what I wound up doing. Love the Fullsac X-Pipe by the way!
