I put off the chrome inner.....now that I have it, I wish I'd of gotten it sooner, really looks good on there..........

I know, I know.......my riding buddy, Nite-Al, had got the frame covers you noted above and the cylinder base cover also.....they look really good on his '05 Cherry SEEG.  You almost gotta have that base cover when you  add the chrome inner primary.  jMHo.   spyder

.....I'm waiting for my first ding/scratch/ or unremovable stain to install the chrome inner primary, but I know it'll look good when I get there.  [smiley=cool26.gif]har!  spyder

It's only money, and just think of all the enjoyment you'll have seeing that "bling". Then you add the cylinder base cover, to carry the chrome all the way to the cylinders, then diamond cut the jugs and heads, etc, etc. You know it never ends why fight it. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Now you're talking, d00d!  I'm just waiting to 'hit the lottery' and I'm tearing my motor down to send it to Las Vegas for the diamond cut.  I didn't believe the silver motor would look so good diamond cut until I saw it last year in Daytona, and Maaaaannnnn!  That's the ticket!   [smiley=gorgeous.gif]  har!  spyder

I was lookin at the pics of the neck covers and I don't think they'll fly on mine....the cabling for the BlueTooth is fairly.......HUGE.....from the pics on someone elses bike they'll be in the way....oh well.....I'm sure I can find more chrome elsewhere.  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Well since you going to have all that expendable money after hitting the lottery, you may as well get the Zippers 113 kit while the motor is tore down. Diamond cut the heads, and cylinders, then send your motor to Zippers have the 113 kit installed, and from outward appearance nothing changes. But when you twist the throttle, oh yea!!!!!

Ken,

"Diamond Cutting" is a machining process that creates facets on the edges of the cylinder and head fins.  Those facets work just like those on a diamond, reflecting light to add fire and sparkle.  Actually, this process can be used on other aluminum parts also.   Check out this thread  http://www.diamond-heads.com/pages/21743/index.htm
