Another Ducati to Harley
« on: September 13, 2011, 08:26:31 PM »

Yes, I have gone from a 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200S to a shiny new CVO Road Glide Ultra in Rio Red. After 16 bikes over the past 40 years, I have finally got a Harley. I needed to slow down a bit and make better accommodations for the missus. Picked it up today, and did my first 100 miles. Very different from anything I have ever had before, but I am in love with it. The wife is still a bit unsure, she doesn't understand why a $36,000 motorcycle vibrates so much. She had a hard time keeping her feet on the passenger floor boards, they kept vibrating off. I am sure in time she will get used to it....or she can just stay home. :)

Man, in the past two weeks 2 Duc riders have turned to the Dark Side! First a Diavel, now a Multi Strada S. Both bikes I would love to own.

Other than the vibe of the HD, what other differences can you share?

Oh, by the way, welcome aboard!
