Cool snake.....

While I was out riding with the guys today my wife got her sewing machine out and got a bit creative.

For those of us that ride in triple digit temps on a regular basis, we're all familiar with the cool vests.  I bought a Silver Eagle several years ago, before they started making them for Harley Davidson....  http://www.silvereagleoutfitters.com/mens-classic-cooling-vest/

We're also familiar with the cool snakes (they have various names)....     http://www.coolhats.com.au/cool_snakes.html

Those that I've always saw are about an inch wide and approx. twelve inches or so long.  Sometime this summer I ran across one that has two rows (or two tubes) of the polymer gel, making a larger cooling surface.......very important when it's 112F.  I asked my wife if she could make one with three tubes.  Using a Harley Davidson scarf (a give away at some promotion), she did a great job of it and it's definately functional. :2vrolijk_21:

Looks like it covers and keeps the neck from burning as well. The back of my neck is burning since I'm goin east. Using 50 sunscreen!

Next time she should get Wrongway in his sheriffs duds to model it. Unless JC has a badge.

Maybe the kerchiefs were to protect for burning from the sun? (And masks for robbing the stages)

Try using it as a mask and see if you slur your words or drool.
