YEP! The MoCo really pulled off a Hat Trick with the CVO SGs this year! I'm still looking forward to seeing my first Black and Slate in person... I'm sure it's beautiful. I've always liked the off-blacks - Slate, Black Pearl, even the Black Denim - although I prefer shiny, wet-looking paint.

And here's a close-up of the gore... I think my wife is in shock that I would tear apart a brand-new motorcycle like this... I just can't believe all of the crap I had to take off to get the $%&#in' bars off!

I tried just removing the radio and lower fairing skirt... but the lower cross member of the inner that forms the radio opening was right on top of the two lower Torx 40 bolts that hold the bars on. I had to get that out of the way to loosen them. I couldn't get even get a Torx bit on those two lower bolts, so I decided to remove the inner fairing to make everything easily accessible.

Just funnin with ya.   Back on topic......I've yet to see the ruby. I've been in a lot of dealerships in Nor Cal and haven't saw the ruby yet but that orange one is definately a keeper.

JC - with THIS Corbin I totally agree. It fits me like a glove, and I didn't have to do any squirming around on the ride today to get/stay comfortable. I love this seat! (The backrest is another story... see below...) 

But with the Corbin that was on Bertha the Evo when we bought her, I couldn't ride for more than 30 minutes without my legs starting to go numb. The throat on that seat was way to wide for me, and it was too high. I sold it on eBay for $300, and bought a Mustang Regal and rider backrest that is still on Bertha today. I love that seat, too.

I like Mustang's backrest implementation better than any other seat I've seen. You can remove the backrest just by pulling up on it (of course, so can thieves, I suppose!), it has multiple click points that hold it at different heights, it folds down for the passenger to get on/off, and has a knurled nut on the back that allows you to easily adjust it forward or backward. With the Corbin, I have to use an Allen wrench to install/remove the backrest, and swap out bolts to adjust the lean angle of it. The doughnut shape of the backrest is also not very comfortable... it puts pressure points on my back where the upper and lower parts of the doughnut are. On the ride today, I had to lean forward often to relieve the pressure on my back. The solid, heavily-padded Mustang backrest on Bertha is far more comfortable for long rides.

So, for comfort... Corbin gets an "A" for the seat, but only a "C" at best for the backrest. The Mustang on Bertha gets straight "A"s for both seat and backrest... but it doesn't have orange flames that match the Hot Citrus!

picked up my RUBY RED on saturday. the bike totally rocks seeing it in person makes you realize the pictures doesn't do the bike justice. GO RUBY :-)

SWEET! Welcome to the FLHXSE3 SHOOTOUT Club! We need more Hot Citrus owners in here to keep the score even!

I have to say that this bike exceeds my expectations... I love the way it looks and performs. I only thing I do not like is the useless stock seat... but I suppose that's more of a back issue on my part than the seat itself, and I fixed that with the Corbin seat. Still, they really should have provided a rider backrest option with the stock seat... I read somewhere that the average age of CVO buyers is now 54, and I'm exactly that ripe old age. Most of us have some sort of physical ailment(s) by 54, and the stock seat was was simply PAINFUL for me.

They both look great in the sun, but if I have to choose, I would say...

"Oh Ruby, DO take your love to town".
