« on: September 19, 2011, 10:20:55 PM »

Hello.....I'm trying to find out if anyone knows who can powder coat my exhaust in a high gloss black finish instead of the normal satin typically used. I live in GA. Thanks,

I had the end caps and heat shields powdercoated gloss black at local car  repair shop. Finish is still good as new.
When I asked him to put gloss black on the matt black SE headpipe shields he flat refused claiming the heat would damage the clearcoat.  maybe he´s right.

I had mine powder coated with a gloss black finish and they really look great!  However, the rear cylinder shield has gone south a bit due to the heat; I have wrapped my pipes (FullSac x pipe) and will get that shield re-coated this winter.
