Planning on getting my inner fairing painted Kryptonite over the winter, does anyone know if you can buy them ready painted from Harley or is it a case of just getting a painter to match the colour ? Or can you buy the paint from Harley ? Any tips greatly appreciated, cheers, Paul.

Any good painter can match the Kryptonite paint.

The Kryptonite is NOT available as a color matched item from HD.  That's what the dealer told me where I'm getting my Krypto.

And they sure will not sell you the paint for a CVO.

That's typical of them, can accept the fact of them not selling the paint to anyone, but when you have bought & paid for a CVO surely this should give you the right to purchase paint for it. What would happen then if you needed to repair or replace any bodywork due to an accident

They'll sell you painted parts at a premium price.

I painted tour pack and helmets to match krypto using GMs new synenergy green paint that is used on the new Camaro .. It matches great .. check it out at body paint supply

My painter took my side cover and and matched it almost perfectly! One of the bests mods for the bike in my opinion.

Sounds like a good plan, I know a good painter here in UK so I'm sure he can get a good match

You can get color matched Kryptonite parts from HD.  Just not an inner fairing.

Sounds like a plan, need to give the guy I know a ring & see if he can do it, will let you know the outcome. Think it makes a huge difference to the look of the bike, this year the moco seems to have colour matched all their 2012s.

i was in France at the weekend , went to Opale Shore Rally, only seen another three of the krpto bikes there, everywhere i have been on my bike there has been at least another, but seeing four in France was amazing just a shame we wernt all parked togather
