A Harley specialist just opened in Gland, Switzerland.
Spoke to what I think was one of the owners, and they plan to be an alternative for all of us who have had enough with the crazy pricing policy of the Official Harley importer and dealers.

They will do some direct import of parts (and bikes??) and offer customization services, including paint and Dyna Tune (as of next spring).
A great show today, but not much on the shelves yet.
I wish them good luck and will return for sure!

bad time for opening up such a shop but I wish them all the best.

Wonder how they will be doing with the MoCo's new policy of selling parts to independents ...

If you are referring to the financial climate when saying it´s a Bad Time to open, don´t you think it´s the opposite?
Assuming they keep their prices competitive then there should be enough Harley owners around looking for an alternative to the HD dealers and their outrageous pricing policy.

it's not the dealers pricing, it's the MoCos.

I just wonder from where they will get the parts.

That looked like a great stunt show. Hope it ended well...

As stated above, it will be interesting to see how an Independent is able to sell Harley parts, with the moratorium. Monopolies are never good for the customer.
