Is there a way to have the 660 not turn on every time you start the bike?

I, too, wish it wouldn't...but have not figured out how. I leavr it in it's case in the saddlebag, unless I need it.

As soon as it sees power, it comes on. Seems like Garmin should allow you to change this but I have not been able to find out how or if you even can.
Maybe a question for Garmin.

I sent a question to Garmin support. I'll let you all know what they say.

The only way I know of is to wire the power into the Auxiliary switch.

Garmin support sent me the following email answer to my question about turning off the auto power up when a Garmin unit is connected to ans external power source;
Thank you for contacting Garmin International.

Unforutnately, there is no way of disabling the auto power feature. As
soon as any of our units recognize an external power source, it will
power up. I apologize for any inconvenience.
