See attachment.  One difference is the color of the cylinders, the other is the -07 kit includes catalyst mufflers while the other kit does not.

Jerry,

I love the way you back up information with documents. It is sometimes invaluable. Thanks for the help on that Heavy breather bolt issue on mine.

I'm not sure about the 2010 model, but my 09 used the earlier kit with the cat mufflers because the dealer couldn't get the newer kit when my bike was delivered.

As best I can tell, the -07 kit will fit the 2010 engine just fine.  But, unless the price is really super good, it might be cheaper to just buy the parts you actually need (cams, pistons/rings, gaskets, etc.) and forget about the silver cylinders that won't match your black engine, or the mufflers you don't want or need.  You can have your stock cylinders bored oversize, which is all H-D does on those cylinders in the kits anyway.  Try pricing it out that way (get a price from your local engine builder to bore and hone your cylinders) and compare the prices.

Don't forget about compression releases.  They aren't part of the kits, but they are recommended.

:2vrolijk_21:  Just the pistons and the cams alone retail for about $600 MSRP, so yes it sounds like an excellent price.
