License plate relocation
« on: October 04, 2011, 10:13:01 PM »

After seeing how good the fully exposed fender looked on Kisscorky's bike, I was wondering: Is there a kit on the market to do this?

pm203, I ordered the licence plate holder and it was expensive...around $200. I don't remember the manufacturer, but will look around the man cave for the info if you want me too. The most difficult part was the bolt needed to put it on. The bolt that came with the licence plate was to short. I spent months searching for a bolt that was long enough with the whole shaft threaded. I finally gave up and had a machinist make one for me. It is a great clean look, but the final cost was really high.

The other problem with this, I do love the look, but I think we will be asking for a ticket if we have our bags on.
