It's Naitram's board. Any way he wants to run it is fine w/ me. If I don't like it I can leave as can anyone else. I came here to learn about my rides and not for endless B.S. Thought I'd left that behind in high school. I'm grateful for what I've learned here though it's cost me a small fortune  :P. Made some really good friends on this site and that's an added bonus.

I hate to feel ignorant, so could someone please enlighten me as to what the hell this thread is all about?  I wander around here a little bit pretty much every day, and other than the guy who shot his mouth off about running bikers off the road and then pulled his own posts and deleted his account after getting jumped by several members, I'm not aware of any big number of post deletions.  Please enlighten me.

I agree. People on this forum seem to just be nicer than on some other forums, and they don't (or aren't allowed to) flame others. I like that!  :2vrolijk_21:

You may be correct in your assertion of not needing to know.  You are incorrect in that it was pointless.  It definitely had a point, and the point was taken.  It will probably remain in the anals of the archives of this Site, unless of course, the party in receipt of the point decides to take it further, which I seriously doubt.  Until then, it is yesterday's business.  Let's move on.  8) Later--HUBBARD

This is the MOST informational site I have ever been on. Real answers to real questions, smart azz answers to stupid questions. I have had some of both, and am old enough to know the difference. Personal attacks or political banter have never improved my scooter!!

Naitram uses the tools and his knowledge to create this Social Network. Two parts; Network which is mainly Naitrams controlling role, and Social which is mainly the role of all members and controlled by a climate of civility (etiquette) and a boundary of a topic. In this Social case the main boundary of a topic is Harley Davidson CVO Motorcycles. The Climate is to be inclusive not exclusive and operated by a code of conduct.

Naitram doesn't exclude members who don't think like him, ride like him, and have his tastes and opinions. If he did there would only be one member. Same as for other members, understand that we are all different, and our behaviors are to be different here just the same as for other areas of life. Work, roads, school, restaurants, home, team sports, etc.

How you communicate with others reflects more on you than it does them.

Listen to what is being said not how it was said or spelled out.

Count to ten, walk away, let it drop.

Be civil.

Discuss issues in private with a PM. Don't air your dirty laundry.

Stay positive with a message, "I really prefer a single toned ruby paint theme" gets your message across better than "I hate your two toned blue and green, white fudged, front fairing, rant, rant"

Help out versus pointing out, such as "Here are some earlier posts regarding your topic" versus "that topic has been posted before, do a search".

But remember that this is a motorcycle forum. You might get a few bugs in your teeth, oil on your clothes, skin up your knees and bump your head. Maybe your feelings hurt! If so, pick yourself up, shake it off, get in the saddle, and get back on the road. It's not the mishap that measures your character, we all have mishaps, it's what you do after the mishap! It's as much mental as it is physical!

Just my opinion!

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men
