If you like the look of the stock mufflers, and you still have them, contact Fullsac about replacement baffles.  They are available in several size/sound levels.  Steve George of Fullsac is a member on this site, btw.

bloper123, If you still have your stock baffles and you really want to not  spend any money try drilling a bunch of 1/4 holes in them in some sort of  pattern then reinstall them and you may end up with something acceptable.(you don't have to weld them back in, just drill a hole and put in one bolt on each baffle) I have done things like this many times over the years and sometimes the results are good sometimes not. It is worth a shot and it only costs you your time. CAHDBIKER

Yes...but if you've got a drill motor or a Dremel tool, and a grinding bit, you can do it yourself in about two hours, at most.  But, you can ship them and they will do it...call Steve at Fullsac.  I wouldn't go over the 2" baffle size...the 1.75" may be loud enough for you.

Don't know that I followed every post... but I simply took my dremel and carefully cut the two spot welds on each of the stock tailpipes, then ground them smooth so I could pull out the baffles and glass on my '11.  I've been running them completely 'open' and have no problem hearing the stereo.  It's not the loudest bike on the road, but it sounds more like a Harley than it does any other bike.  If that's still too loud for you, simply put the baffles back in without the glass and see how that sounds to you.  I'm sure you could find someone skilled enough to tack a couple spot welds back to prevent them from creeping out, which under heavy acceleration might be an issue.  I like the sound of the Reinharts, Fullsac, and especially the Perfect Stroms, but it seems everyone has them, and I like to be a little different at times.  Just a thought.

I choose the stock SE muffler cans and replaced the baffels with Fullsac 1.75 inserts.  I have been really pleased with the improved performance and more aggressive sounds.  Not to loud but you can hear it bark!  Besides when you get the stock baffels out and look at them you will ask yourself how the motor can breath at all.

Go Fullsac and do it your self.  Here are directions with photos:  Installing Fullsac baffles in a CVO Road Glide.

When I ordered my 1.75's I was told that the 2.0's were the most commonly ordered replacement baffles.  It is a personal choice, I like the ones I choose though the 2's would have probably been acceptable.  Most anyone can remove the stock baffles themselves.  The video mentioned helped greatly, some type of dremmel tool or dye grinder with a grinding stone is required.  You will also need a drill, sharp bits, metal punch and tape measure to install your new baffles.  If you do not have these tools or do not have access to them then sending them to Fullsac might be a more cost effective solution.  I did mine myself, with existing tools in my garage.  The first muffler took longer to grind off the existing welds because I was very careful not to damage the muffler core.  I will make one recommendation if you choose to do these yourself.  Wear a pair of protective gloves and safety glasses to protect from fine metal filings from the grinding process.  I ended up with several slivers in my fingers from the grinding process.  It took a couple of days to get them all out of my finger tips.

I am very hands on, but always figure my time is worth something, I had contacted Steve at Fullsac and for his labor costs of 50.00 to replace my cores is well worth it to me.  He gave me a good breakdown on all I wanted to do and while we have the snow on the ground he is going to be getting my mufflers.  I am going with the 2.0 baffles based on what everyone here has been saying.

Thank you guys.
