You can find it on your build sheet or birth certificate which comes with your bike when they uncreated it. Some dealers don't care for it and they just throw it away. Others will save it for you. Or just go to the dealer with your VIN and they can tell you.

Just picked up my beloved from its second trip into the dealers for warranty with the stereo, the 1st time they replaced the amp and all was good until 5000 more kms and then it started to have problems again, this time it would play for a while then the sound would cut in and out and then cut out all together,then the next day it would fire up and do the same thing all over again also the speaker grills had faded so they replaced all the grills and proceeded to try find the problem of the cutting in and out of the sound,this time they pin pointed the problem back to a faulty radio aerial cable apparently it wasn't earthing out correctly causing the unit to work intermittently,the cable has been replaced and now it works full time. Lets hope this is all the problem was and I don't have to take it back for this silly issue again.  :orange:

Glad to hear it was as simple as earthing out, where was the cable earthing out?

We'll have to catch up some time.

G,day Aussie, apparently where the cable meets the bracket that holds the arile at the rear of the bike, time and a bit of use will tell and yes we had better get together soon for a scoot about the north east of Victoria.

Replacement amp took a crap, too at 11,000 miles this week. (Original amp died at 1500 miles) Dealer said the first replacement had exact same part # as original, this 2nd replacement will be the superceded part. Will post that # when it arrives. MANO, BUILD DATE IS 8/24/2010 as shown on the printout from www.h-dnet.com if you'd like to add it to the list and thanks for gathering all this info! I took the list of the 58 2011 SESG bikes from this forum to the dealer to show them I wasn't alone...

Mano  take me off the good amp side of the chart!   My right channel started cutting out intermittently after playing for 20 mins. or so.  Dealer said they diagnosed it and it is the amp, (didn't ask how they determined that) he said amp is on order and will be in first part of next week.  We will see what happens!!!

You can mine, build date is Feb 2012, but could have been dealer caused.

I bought my Krypto used and the original owner had the amp replaced under warranty before I bought it. Build date is 2/2011

   My "fix" so far was to use a 2012 SESG 100 watt amp as a replacement for the 2011 part.

I already got my head unit, amp and the 4 fairing speakers replaced under warranty. Works well so far.

Sent mine to the dealer and told them to keep it all winter if they have to. Also sent them this site so they know I am not alone on this issues. Got my CVO streetgilde in 2011 and have sent it back 5 times for this problem.

Stereo,s out again and dealer diagnosed amp has gone to lunch (again).This will be the second replacement amp so far in this bikes history, hope this one is a keeper.
