Skip the wheel cleaner and grab some Windex
« on: October 17, 2011, 11:22:00 PM »

At first glance it looks like a reflection in the wheel’s center, until someone walks behind the machine, then you realize that these bad boyz are made of glass! So how about a high speed hop through the Big Horn’s on a set of these unbreakable hoop’s!!

Randy, I saw them at the SEMA show two or three (ish) years ago.  Were from D'Vinci.

Google D'Vinci Forgiato Radurra for any company info that might be out there.  At the time they weren't on sale to the public.  The PR at the booth was they expected them to be $4-5K per wheel if they ever went on sale.

Couple of those wheels cost almost as much as our old Road Glides are worth :drink: !

I don’t have any information on the wheels, but I took the photo outside a satellite store for an Anaheim H-D Dealer. I talked to the folks inside the store about the machine, and as I remember it, either an owner or high level employee owns the bike.

I followed 2L’s google and it looks like these wheels have been around for awhile; you’d think the concept would be time tested if they are still available. I still believe it would take a pretty substantial sack to let it all hang out on a set of those; better to keep them for lookin’ through, like that big chunk of rock candy the Chief keeps for entertainment!

Owner's son, Brian Scott, At Anaheim-Fullerton H-D.  I thought they were acrylic...but I'm usually wrong about such things.
