This is somewhere on the site. But here is the link to the best comparison of the Kury/Truck-Lite vs. HD's LED. Also explains the difference between the Truck-Lite Ph 5 and 6. I have the Truck-Lite Phase 6 - just installed it yesterday.

Best money I've ever spend for lighting!  Don't know if your bike has passing lights, if it does, get the LED's for them too!

So on the CVO bikes with seperate low and high bulbs and seperate plugs for each how do you wire in the LED light which has both high and low beam - and I assume just one plug?  Is some sort of adapter required?

I just added the Kury/Truck Lite LED passing lamps to my '07.  I already has the Xtra Lite HID headlight (both low and high beam) which I got from Jim several years ago.  Have not ridden at night but on a 700+ mile weekender last week and everyone riding with me commented on how bight and noticeable the passing lamps were.  I was sweeping in a group of seven bikes and the lead rider commented on how well he could see me.

I had seen that article comparing the Kury/TLs to the H-D/JW lights several months ago.  What sold me on the Kury/TLs is that they are so much more noticeable during daylight.  I don't ride all that much at night anyway but I sure want everything I can get for other drivers to see me.

If you backtrack far enough you'll find that the dual bulb plugs are part of an adapter harness that already connects to the single bulb H4 style connector on the LED light.  Remove the little intermediate adapter harness and you're good to go.

On my 2010 Ultra I needed a "Y" harness to make the garage door opener work as it was wired into the dual bulb harness. If you need that harness do a search and you'll find the part #.

If that's needed it's just the little Road Glide headlight pigtail.  # 70423-98.

Last week I installed the Kurry / Truck LED head light and passing lamps on my Wife's Heritage.  Got them at Smoky Mountain when I was picking up and ordering parts for my 2012 CVO Road Glide that should be there beginning of Dec.

Those light are very bright.  My wife really likes them and she rides a lot of Dark twisty back roads home from Work late at night.

Wish the made them for the Road Glide.

???  Is there anything similar for the smaller Roadglide head lights?  :nixweiss:
I have just installed two Kuryakyn fender spot lights and they make the stock headlights look yellow.  :nervous:

I have the trucklites on my bike, and it is the best money I have spent on it, not only for darkness, but people can see you coming in the daylight better, the trucklite show up better in the daylight than the HD LED, the HD LEDs project a little better down the road at night, but not as much of the bar ditch is lighted as with the trucklites.  Here is picture of them during the daylight, they are much brighter than the dual bulb light.

Hi.  Just a question here about the y connector.   I thought I would have needed it also. I just installed the ph 7 headlight.  On my sg, I just plugged it in and the garage door opener worked fine.   Not sure why I thought I needed this harness. Did you have to use it? If you did, I was wondering why.   Thanks.  Stuart.
