Any of you guys that had the seat replaced under warranty, especially after your original warranty expired. Could you send the dealer name RO. number amd date to my email, HD is claiming that they have never heard of this problem and never replaced them under warranty. hotfireman@mail.com

Just to let you guys know HD finally resolved this issue buy offering to replace the seat after I pay 100 "deductable". All in all a pretty good ending and relatively fast turn around. I am very pleased with the way my dealer and Harley took care of this.

Got mine replaced due to it tearing under the front edges, i have a copy of the recall notice someplace.
I wouldn't have been pleased paying $100, it should have been a freebie!

Yeah I had mine replaced , no charge , and it had a tear in the same area as OhioDave directly under the front edge .

The seat has another part number as the original seat. The dealer replaced mine no cost. They actually sent it to me and I sent the old one back as I'm 80 miles away.
