Hey CVO'ers,

My 2012 Orange and Black SEUC comes in December.  One dealer told me that it comes with a cover as well as inserts for the tour pac and saddlebags.  Is this true?  Also does the shorter windshield come with it from the factory? 

Also the one I saw on the floor didn't have highway pegs.  Should it?  How can I find out what is "supposed" to come with the bike.  I couldn't find it on the website.  You know..."What's in the box" per se.

I can't wait to take delivery on this one.  Almost feels like the first time again.  Giddy almost!

Wow....are you sure that some of that extra stuff like leather cleaner etc.. wasn't just thrown in by your dealer as opposed to factory intent?  I'll have to keep my eye on my dealer come delivery time.

Nope...it all comes with it.  The Roadtech 660 GPS will be in a seperate box as well.  The two headsets come in one box.  Whatever windshield you see in the photos on the HD website will be the one you get.  Most people end up buying aftermarket windshields anyway, to get the right height for them.  They don't usually put the pegs and backrest on for the showroom...not everybody wants their pegs in the same place.  The lower fairing glove boxes will also have the heavy felt liners, like the TP and Saddlebags.

Oh...and the Ipod.

Your dealer should have given you the 2012 CVO brochure. It lists everything you are suppose to get with the bike. Get the new 2012 P & A book also from your dealer. That is where you start spending more money on mods for that new bike.

Yeah....I have spent a fortune out of that P&A catalog over the years.  Thats the main reason I bit the bullet and bought a CVO.  It's actually cheaper that way. 

I still haven't decided on pipes but I think it's got all it needs for half a season anyway.  I plan to go out and "check off" Delaware early next season as it's the only state east of the Miss. that I don't have yet.  BTW....I noticed some folks on here have an outline of the US so they can color in the states they've ridden to.  How do you get one of these?

I like the idea of the Fullsac "Sleeper" set up but one of the three dealers in my area (not the one I'm buying from) told me that I would void the warranty if  did it myself.  Still confused on what to do.  This will be the first model I've had that has a catalytic converter.  In the past I would just put a Stage I on it, a Power Commander, and some slip ons and be done with it.  Now I have to replace all the way to the head.  Sucks.  Any input on this relative to keeping the factory warranty in check?

 That's exactly what I told my wife when we ordered our SEUC. Didn't take long to disprove that idea!

Having looked at one on the floor last night, it appears to have upgraded speakers mounted as well... The ones with separate tweeters offset from the mains.

Please don't tell me that they should have also been on the 2011's

The speakers are the Boom Audio set up that they put on the 12's.  It also comes with an iPod.

Did they include a mount for the iPod as well?  Seems odd that they wouldn't if you have to use it external of the audio system.

I use the GPS MP3 function and/or a CD with my favorites when I drop out of FM range... yes, in Alaska that still happens

The ipod resides in the top of the right saddlebag, as does the connector.
