What a senseless killing. Too bad the shooter didn't just take his own life. Thoughts and prayers go out to the officers family and friends.

Wow Tommy that was powerful! Had chill bumps through the whole video. So many thoughts and emotions filled my heart and mind while watching. The saying "One picture is worth a thousand words"... my mind will be processing what I saw for quit a while! Thanks for sharing! :2vrolijk_21:

That video is so touching it hurts.  I assume the young man shown at the funeral was his Son.  It is so unfair he should lose his father so young and while performing an act of kindness. 

Darn, he could have just passed by and lived to see another day.  My hope is that this does not discourage officers from doing so in the future.  So often people really want their help and appreciate them stopping.

My heartfelt prayers for the family and their community.

I've been to a few of those funerals, not something i ever want to experience again.
