you know what PETA stands for, correct?

People Eating Tasty Animals

OK, ok, before I incur the wrath of anyone...........I am an animal lover, always have and always will be a dog person, but I was raised on a farm, and I also enjoy a good steak.

It is in an older section of my hometown . The city is spending some money here to spiff things up so I thought I better get a picture of this old icon before they demolish it. U.S. 87 used to run right down this street and all the way through town north and south. In the sixties they built a nice 4 lane each direction two block over to the west. You can imagine what happened to all the motels, gas stations, truck stops, restaurants etc. Now it is franchise avenue on the new street and Meth haven on this one. Like so many small towns , downtown here kinda dried up when the highway went through. Progress? Go figure!

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men
