I spoke with Don a couple of hours ago and he was on his way home  The meds must heve kicked in as he seemed in good spirits and said Soozie was going out of her way to hit every pot hole.    Looks like he is on his way to a speedy, but painfull recovery.

What a sick feeling that had to have been.....no quick way to get out of the way, just had to 'take it'.  spyder

Well everybody thought I'd give everyone an update, well surgery went very good but for some reason I had a sever pain just out of surgery, so they decided to give me a nerve block, it's where they go in and block off all the nerves to your neck, boy believe me you feel nothing. I was told it should last maybe 15 to 20 hours they can't do it any longer because of permanent damage. But it would give be atleast 20 hours out of surgery, So as I started to feel it wearing off they started me on the Good stuff ..lol.. it was around a two hour surgery, and now with  taking the meds every four hours things are good I've already started moving it around in circles. All I have to say is thank God it's raining and a little cold because setting in the house is driving me nuts. I want to thank all of you guys that have offered to exercise the bikes for us.  And all the phone calls and well wishes.
