The backing plate is #3146 and there are two options on the frame #3145 -3144 .. they are shown in the Kury catalogue along with pdf instruction for reference.. bout 150.00 msrp plus what it takes to make it green .. LOL

Can you remove that ugly upper chrome piece easily so just the tag frame is left?

I'm thinkin .. that is prolly the light source.. I may be wrong .. sure I can cut it off .. Thats what i do metal fab.. plasma take it right off .. LOL

The light source is in the upper portion of the outer frame.  The ugly chrome piece is a part of the bracket.  What I am curious about is whether it would come off clean and just need to be painted or....

It's too late for me I bought a Yaffee because you couldn't get a ship date from Kury.

 Just bend the plate to fit. No big deal.. I'm not sure of the boxy part on top. That's where the wire comes through from the connector. 

You CVO purists will hate it! The back mounting plate is Plastic! OMG!

Took about ten minutes to install.

Very Nice Look!  I ordered mine a few days ago... I'm really not a big fan of that bulky metal piece on the top of the frame, but I'll just have to get used to the look I suppose...  :-/
