I know this is not what you want to hear but I would keep the Fullsac setup or maybe opt for the Fullsac 2.25 baffles.  With a Fullsac TTS map this is a winning combination!

Advice taken!  After doing all my homework and listening to sound clips, I decided to stay with the Fullsac system and order the 2.25 baffles.    However, this may not be popular, but it's what I want to do.  I want black exhaust.  Steve at Fullsac said I could either send my muffles out to get ceramic coated or try and pick up a set and do the same.  I found out that I can buy black heat shields from HD for about $260.  I like chrome, but this bike this bike has a lot and I like the idea of the black exhausts offsetting some of the shine, plus it will go well with the black lower fairings and the black graphics at the bottom of the bags.  I saw a red Ultra Limited tricked out this way and it looked really good.  If I don't like it, I put the chrome heat shields back on and the chrome mufflers.  I have two sets of exhausts that I can play with and still be less than what a new system would have cost.

Need some help on ceramic coating?  Any ideas on costs and where to send the mufflers?

Well I picked up my new bike today and.......you were right!  The Fullsac set up sounds really good and they run real well.  Decent day, 47 degrees so i was able to ride a little to get a feel for the bike.  I think the 2.0's sound good, a little softer than I would like but they sound good.  I'm thinking the 2.5's would do the trick!

Only one problem!  I was leaning towards going black with the system?  I can get the back heat shields no problem, and i hear i can send the stock mufflers out to get black ceramic coated for $200...but that sounds like a crap shoot and a pain in the butt. 

ANYONE know how the V&H High Outputs compare to the stock cans with the Fullsac 2.0 or 2.25 cores???  I can just buy those in black and be done with it?

Rio, I have the Fullsac 2.25 baffles on my 09SEUC and they sound just like you describe your 2.00 baffles. Unless you have some kind of special ears/hearing I don't think you can hear any difference between the two sizes of baffles. I love my Fullsac's but they are nowhere close to what I consider loud. Now the Rush pipes on my wifes Road King...now those are LOUD. JMO. Oh to answer your question. The High Outputs will cost more and be louder than Fullsacs.

Glad you didn't go with the Long Shots. My son haddum for a year and I couldn't ride beside him. Loud is great.....but that loud was obnoxious!!! IMHO.

I was going to go with the CFRs and decided on D&D Fatcat.
Deep and loud     no tin here.

IMO:  I went with FuelMoto's ceramic coated stainless steel head pipe because I wanted to keep the stock looks without the cat converter.  I had Reinheart 2:1 on my '07Ultra which dis-colored badly.  I loved the sound but not the color change, this time I wanted to keep the 2:1:2 and have never had the stock heat shields discolor on other bikes.  I kept the stock SE muffler cans and added the Fullsac baffels.  Concerned with increasing noise monitoring I choose the 1.75's they have great sound when you screw it on.  I also wanted to maintain the symetrical look of two mufflers.  I think you have the best combination already!

Threw all the controversy out the window.  I have a crusier    If I want sport and loud, maybe I'll buy a Fat Bob or a Sportster for the nostalgic side of me?  As for now, I am happy and I am set.  Mark (previous owner) did a nice job with the bike.  I spent last Sunday cleaning it and going over it with a fine tooth comb.  Not a single blemish on the bike....I guess that's the benefit of membership, honesty and integrity!  He did a nice job tuning the Fullsac system with the 2.0 baffles.  They are quiet to the rider, but when I had my buddy buzz around the parking lot, I was very happy with the sound.  Just for chits and giggles, I ordered the 2.25 baffles for a little more tone.  All and all, the bike is tuned very nicely and runs strong, why mess with a good thing, so I will submit to much of the advice i have been given and stick with the Fullsac's.

I could and would, but it would be misleading.  Winter here, my bike is indoors in a basement of a car dealership.  The sound would not be a true sound because of the echos.  I pulled the 2.0 cores along with the insulation of the stock pipe.  Based on that, and what i could tell, the 2.25 has a little deeper tone and a little louder, but a lot of that may be a result of removing the insulation?  I am keeping the 2.0 baffles until i get a chance to hear it outside, but i think the 2.25's are a keeper!   Still not CFR's, but cheaper and the bike is already tuned and running well.

Good for you Rio, I wasn't aware at the time I purchased my bike that many mods were even possible.  I love my CFR's but I am considering installing a fullsac x-pipe and Andrews cams, I just would like to know in advance how much louder the bike is going to be.  I don't want to interfere with my tunes.

Ain't strictly comparing apples, but I put a Fullsac pipe on my '12 103 along with their 2" re-core kit and with a set of 255 cams.  The left-side non-CVO muffler re-core has a forward stand-off ring just like the rear ring (though without the threaded holes), so I could not leave the stock "packing" screen in place like I did on the right side.  I ended up having to disassemble said "packing" and re-assembled it between the stand-off rings.  That got rid of the slight amount of resonant obnoxiousness that was emanating from the left side muffler.

The overall sound is definitely louder than with just 2" core slip-ons on the stock cat headpipe (and stock cams).  It's (now) a sweet sound, though, and does not interfere with tune appreciation in any way.  From what I know of the CFR cans, I'd have to say all else being equal (it's not) you'll end up a bid louder than I am.  So I guess that in the end, I've just wasted both our time...  :-)  Though if you know firsthand the difference in sound quality between your bike and a 103 with the full Fullsac exhaust, and the difference between the Fullsac re-core mufflers and the CFRs, you might have a little bit to go on with what I brought to the table.

I have a 2012 road glide with fullsac xpipe, cfr mufflers and tts. runs great. there is not an exhaust out there that sounds as bad ass as the cfr's. everywhere i go people ask what exhaust is that, it rocks.
