First Father and Son ride.

My son goes to UCLA and in August I bought him a yamaha vino scooter (125cc). Parking is free and it gets 90+ mpg. Never the less he had to get his motorcycle license. So sunday I rented him his first real bike. 2011 iron 883. (bad ass little bike) Our first father and son ride and it was great. :2vrolijk_21: He handled it like he had been on it for years. He always had his sights on a crotch rocket but now seems to have a change of heart. Here are a couple of pictures from our ride.

Very cool.

I hope my son is still into motorcycles when he's old enough to ride his own.
Still got a few years to go though.  He likes riding with me still.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

I lost my son in 1991.  He was 22 then.  When he was younger he rode on the back of my bikes a lot.  I still miss those days.  Please get your son or daughter on the road with you.  You never know when it can't happen.

My current wife had two sons when we got married.  The youngest rides a Sportster Nightster (1200).  Peppy little bike but no comparison to the baggers.  He did ride it with us this past summer on a 4,300 road trip.

Riding w/ our son is amongst our favorite past times and most cherished memories. Glad you guys got out together and hope you get many more.
