It took me 67 days to get a new front fender from the day harley shop order it.   Today is the 30th day my new cylinder heads have been on order and don't now when they will get here, why does it take so long to get parts from H-D. Am I the only one that has to wait this long for parts ?????

You got your painted parts quicker than most.  It's not uncommon for CVO paint to take twelve weeks or longer.

On the flip side, heads are usually quicker than that.

Nope, you're not the only one. Close factories, lay off workers, import more and more from China; it's a miracle anything gets to us at all. Sign of the times or the way it's to be?  :nixweiss: It's ridiculous.  :soapbox:  My parts dept. is waiting on a H.D. black fender for 3 months +.

My dealer had a new fairing to replace the one they scratched while replacing a heated grip in a week. Lucky I guess

For me I think I was lucky because I ordered a rear fender (American version) to replace the one I have (European version) for my 2012 CVO SG, and I received it painted in 25 days.
