TW8 = twin cam early chain drive
W8 = EVO

Same lift and timing specs, one is for an Evo and the other is for a Twin Cam (T).  If you're looking for a cam for the late style Twin Cam (2007 up (2006 up Dyna)), you need to go to that portion of the catalog for the correct number for those engines.

And if using the 8 cam in the pre-hydraulic chain set-ups, the TW-8G is highly reccommended, as long as the crank runs true. :)
