thanks folks!  One ride I am doing with the THCC Hog Chapter is Rolling Thunder in DC.  My wife rides too and we look to have a great time-about a 10 day trip planned.  Mid to later summer I'm looking to head west out of San Antonio and end up in Vegas to spend time with my brother who retired from the Air Force and is now a LV Metro policeman.  I'f I'm near any of you guys I'll be sure to look you up  :2vrolijk_21:

That's just up the road from us.  We've ridden "in" the parade, but mostly now, we go in and watch for a while, then bug out and hit some country roads away from the crowd of hundreds of thousands.

Last year we went over to Eastern Ohio and did some riding that weekend in stead.  Let us know when your coming.  If we're in town that weekend, I can show you some roads around here.  :2vrolijk_21:

If you roll through Tennessee, (I'm in Chattanooga) give me a shout. Who knows we might roll up to NC and visit my buddy 2K. Your always welcome here! Close by we have of course The Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway, Natchez Trace Parkway, one of my fav's Cherohala Skyway. Also a lot of just good old normal curvy roads.

We are planning on going through the Blue Ridge Parkway as part of the tour up there.  I'll be sure to keep in touch.  Many of my friends have ridden the Dragon Tail and that is on my bucket list.

Live in MD. Our HD Dealership send about 400 bikes a year out WV of the shop to Rolling Thunder. One of the best rides and experiences. When up this way WV and NC have some of the best roads and country to see. Also NY is a beautiful state to ride in. Enjoy your trip. Wish I could go along. Thanks for your service and enjoy retirement.
